Four National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have test positive to Coronavirus in the orientation Camp in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
Director, Public Health, Nasarawa State Ministry of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Adamu disclosed this to Journalists.
In his word we have taken samples, and only four members are positive after their samples were taken and results returned to us.
Another source also said that the affected Corps Members are isolated at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Keffi Local Government Area which is the town hosting the Corps Members Orientation Camp in Magaji Dan-Yamusa.
When contacted, the Coordinator of NYSC in the state, Mr. Steven Dewan said, he knew that the NCDC has taken samples and they were waiting results.
It could be recalled that Corps Members and Camp officials were first profiled, then tested using the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) kit. Where there is a positive result, it has to be confirmed with a Polymeric Chain Reaction (PCR ) test.
